This Privacy Policy describes how Nelson Design Collective (“NDC”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our internal Google Ads reporting application (the “Application”), which connects to the Google Ads API to retrieve advertising performance data for the client accounts we manage.

Scope of this policy
This policy applies specifically to the Application and its use of data obtained through Google APIs. It is separate from the general privacy policy that governs our public website.
Information the Application accesses
The Application uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate to the Google Ads API as our agency manager account. Through this connection it accesses read-only Google Ads data for the accounts we manage, including campaign, ad group, ad, asset, keyword, and performance metric data. The Application does not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google user data beyond the Google Ads data described here.
How we use the information
Data retrieved through the Application is used solely for internal reporting, analysis, and account review on behalf of the clients whose accounts we manage. It is not used for advertising, sold to anyone, or used to build user profiles.
Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use
The Application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer, sell, or use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the internal reporting functions described above, and we do not allow humans to read the data except as necessary to provide those functions, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with the account owner’s consent.
Data sharing
We do not sell or share Google Ads data obtained through the Application with third parties. The data is accessible only to authorized NDC personnel (employees and contracted operators) who need it to perform reporting for the relevant client.
Data storage and retention
The Application operates on a read-only basis and does not maintain a persistent copy of Google Ads data. Query results are held only transiently to produce reports and are not retained beyond that reporting activity. Authentication credentials (OAuth tokens) are stored securely and are used only to authenticate to the Google Ads API.
Data security
We protect access to the Application and its credentials using industry standard safeguards, including restricted access, secure credential storage, and encrypted connections to Google APIs.
Revoking access
Clients whose accounts we manage may withdraw our access at any time by removing our manager account link in Google Ads, which immediately terminates the Application’s access to their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date shown above.
